How does shipping outside Swizerland work ?

Email us (info@costamandorla.com) your order and we will let you know how much shipping will cost.

Shipment

Let’s be clear: The product might be very good and the history very beautiful, but if the shipment fails, all of the previous things are of no use. We cannot assure you that there will not be any incidents, but YES, we promise that when anything happens to your order during transport, we will find a solution. No doing things halfway.

Can I send to different addresses?

Yes, there is no problem. Each time you place an order, you can choose a shipment address. It could be yours or of a friend or family member, or even a colleague or your boss, whoever you would like to surprise. You can even add a small message, when you choose to send a gift. However, please note that you can only send ONE order to ONE shipment address. For example, when you order two boxes of Honey at once you cannot send them to multiple addresses.

My order has not been delivered or is damaged

We believe there is a solution for everything and if there is a product missing or anything arrived in bad conditions, we will resolve it. Two pieces of advice for you:

1. If you notice that your package has been manipulated during transport and has suffered damages, please send us a photo, the way you have received it, without opening it. Moreover, it is very important to report this to the shipment company when signing the receipt of delivery and to directly file a complaint with DHL, DPD, MRW via their service hotline.

2. If you find any product missing, please make sure to check the bottom of the box. From time to time you can find it there hidden below other things. In any case, you can always contact us. Please do so here and we will do everything possible to find a solution.

Where does the food offered come from?

Our lands are on the volcano Stromboli (north of Sicily) and are situated between the village of Ginostra and the crater zone of the world’s most active volcano.  There we keep our bees which produce honey (offered to you as spring honey from Ginostra and summer honey from Ginostra). Also our olive trees (from which we produce olive oil) and our almonds trees (which we harvest to offer almonds) are situated there. 

Given the limited availability of our own production we have chosen to also add to our offering a few selected products sourced from Aeolian and Sicilian farming and beekeeper colleagues who work in an artisan way. We can vouch for the quality of these products our colleagues have assembled for us: honey from Citrus plants from the foot of Mount Etna, capers from Lipari and crushed capers from Lipari, an innovation we can highly recommend as a natural spice in lieu of salt and herbs.

How does Shipment work?

Shipment within Switzerland and Liechtenstein is organized through Swiss Post. When ordering the goods on our webshop your order will either be delivered 2 working days later (Swiss PostPac Economy) or 1 working day later (Swiss PostPac Priority). 

For Shipment outside of Switzerland and outside of Liechtenstein please contact us by email (info@costamandorla.com) with your order and we will liaise with you regarding the shipment details and the cost of shipment. 

Who pays for Shipment?

For orders below CHF 100 you will be asked to pay for shipment. For orders above CHF 100 the shipment is paid by Costa Mandorla. 

Are you offering any discounts?

Our food is artisan made on the world’s most active volcano in a UNESCO world heritage site and a Natural Reserve of Italy. Accordingly, our production costs are high. We are offering discounts for those clients who order in big size as to the following schedule: For orders above CHF 500 we offer a discount of 5%, for orders above CHF 2’500 we offer a discount of 10%.
